Driving directions

The Cascate delle Marmore Waterfalls is a flow- controlled cascade, one of the highest in Europe, with a total height difference of 165 m, divided into three cascades. It is located roughly 7.5 km from Terni, Umbria, almost at the end of the Valnerina, the long valley dug by the Black River.

Its name derives from the calcium salts, found on the rocks, which are similar to white marble.
